A partire dai recenti fatti di Barcellona, che hanno riportato all'ordine del giorno il tema della paura legata alle azioni terroristiche rivendicate dall'Isis, il comune di Rescaldina - in collaborazione con l'Associazione Culturale Vidya - ha deciso di organizzare un incontro pubblico durante il quale si rifletterà sulle possibili risposte alla paura del terrorismo.
Oggi più che mai è necessario capire il fenomeno "terrorismo" scindendo l'atto terroristico in sé da una sua presunta matrice religiosa: come affermato nelle strade di Barcellona"il terrorismo non ha religione".
Analizzare questi fenomeni richiede un approccio metodico, rigoroso e approfondito che non lasci spazio ai luoghi comuni che generano paura del diverso e atteggiamenti razzisti verso "l'altro da noi", per etnia, religione e cultura.
Giovedì 28 Settembre a Rescaldina presso l'Auditorium, dalle ore 21, si terrà un incontro inter-religioso e interculturale per riflettere insieme sulla possibilità di una risposta, condivisa, al terrorismo e alla paura che genera.
I relatori dell'incontro saranno Michele Cattaneo, sindaco di Rescaldina; Davide Bernocchi, cittadino rescaldinese da anni impegnato in Medio Oriente; Don Antonio Rizzolo, direttore di Famiglia Cristiana; Paolo Pobbiati, attivista e già presidente di Amnesty International Italia e l'Ing. Chridi Kalil Abdellatif, presidente del Centro Islamico di Saronno.
